L'Alcora, an important village in the interior of Castellón province, is one of the first stops on the Camino de Santiago of Castellón. Its name is widely known worldwide for the Real Fábrica de Loza and Porcelana, founded in the 18th century by the Count of Aranda, whose pieces are now museum treasures. For pilgrims, a visit to the L'Alcora Ceramic Museum is an immersive experience into this rich artisanal tradition. The locality, situated in a valley and surrounded by undulating landscape, offers a peaceful and cultural break. Its historic centre, with the Church of the Assumption, and the natural surroundings of María Cristina Reservoir, are other attractions. The village has all necessary services for walkers.
