Discover Arre
Arre, a village in the comarca of Pamplona, is a major landmark for pilgrims on the French Way and the final point of convergence for those arriving by the Baztán Way. Its most emblematic feature is the Bridge of the Trinity over the River Ultzama, a magnificent medieval work that has guided walkers for centuries. Alongside the bridge is the complex of the Holy Trinity of Arre, an old pilgrim hospital and monastery now functioning as one of the oldest hostels on the route. For the pilgrim arriving from Zubiri, Arre is truly the threshold to the great city, where rural surroundings begin to give way to urban areas. The excitement of being just a few kilometers from Pamplona is palpable in the atmosphere. It's a perfect place for a final rest before entering the capital, to seal one's credential in a historic location and to enjoy the beauty of the bridge and the riverbank.
