This page transparently explains which content may include AI-assisted text, how we guarantee its quality and accuracy, and the regulatory framework we comply with.

1. Which content may include AI-assisted text

The descriptive and informative texts in the following sections may have been created, in whole or in part, with the assistance of artificial intelligence systems:

• Descriptions of routes and caminos (Camino Francés, Portugués, del Norte, etc.).
• Descriptions of stages between towns.
• Profiles of towns along the Camino de Santiago.
• Descriptions of accommodations (hotels, guesthouses, hostels, rural houses).

2. Human review and editorial responsibility

All AI-assisted content published on this website undergoes human review by the Ourway team before or during publication, as part of our editorial control process. Ourway Travel S.L. assumes editorial responsibility for all content published on this website, regardless of the tools used in its creation.

Our team personally knows the routes, stages, towns and accommodations we describe: AI is a writing tool, not the source of the knowledge.

3. Which content is NOT generated with AI

The following elements are not generated by artificial intelligence systems:

• Prices, rates and availability of accommodations and services, which come from our management systems and agreements with suppliers.
• Contractual conditions, invoices and travel documentation.
• The photographs on the website, which are real images (our own or properly licensed third-party images; see our Attributions page). We do not publish AI-generated images depicting real people, places or events.
• Personal communications with our customers during the management of their bookings.

4. Regulatory framework

This policy responds to the transparency obligations established in Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 13 June 2024 (Artificial Intelligence Act), as well as the provisions of the Spanish Bill on the proper use and governance of artificial intelligence currently under parliamentary procedure in the Spanish Cortes Generales.

In accordance with Article 50.4 of the aforementioned Regulation, the publication of AI-assisted texts that have undergone a process of human review and editorial control, and for which a legal person assumes editorial responsibility — as is the case with the content of this website — meets the transparency conditions required by the regulations.
