Discover Decazeville
Decazeville offers the pilgrim of Le Puy a completely different landscape and history. This city, born in the 19th century, is the fruit of the Industrial Revolution and coal mining and iron industry exploitation. Its urbanism and architecture are a reflection of this working-class past. For the walker, it's a functional stop with all necessary services. Although lacking the medieval charm of other towns on the route, its visit is interesting to understand the region's economic history. The "Chemin de Croix" on the hill and the "A ciel ouvert" museum tell this unique industrial heritage.
