Fucecchio is a historic Tuscan town with a deep connection to the Francigena Way. Situated on a hill dominating the Arno valley, it was an important medieval center. For pilgrims, it's a stop that combines history and nature. Its old town preserves Poggio Salamartano and San John Baptist College. Fucecchio is also the gateway to the Fucetich marshes, Italy's largest inland wetland, a paradise for birdwatching. It's an ideal stage for a restorative break, exploring its heritage and enjoying a unique natural environment in the heart of Tuscany.
