Discover Mamolar

Mamolar, a small and tranquil village in the province of Burgos, is an important convergence point for pilgrims on less-traveled routes. It is here where the Camino Castellano-Aragonés, coming from Soria, meets the historic Camino de la Lana. This meeting of paths makes Mamolar a small Jacobean milestone in the heart of the Sierra de la Demanda. For the pilgrim, it is a stop that offers the authenticity of rural Spain and a deep sense of peace. The village, surrounded by an impressive landscape of pines and forests, is ideal for rest and reflection. Its traditional stone architecture and the church of Santa Centola are its main attractions. Basic services typical of a rural environment, but the hospitality of its people and the beauty of the area more than compensate. In the Camino de Santiago, Mamolar is a place to enjoy the silence, connect with nature, and feel the force of the union of two historical paths before continuing together towards Burgos.
