Maubourguet is a quiet French town located in the region of Bigorra, at the banks of the Adour River. For pilgrims on the Way of Tolosa, it represents a functional and peaceful stopover. The village, with an overwhelmingly rural character, is an ideal place to experience the serene life of the French countryside. Its heritage includes a Romanesque church and the remains of an old castle. Although it's a small nucleus, Maubourguet offers essential services for weary travelers, such as accommodations and restaurants. It's a stage that allows pilgrims to rest in peace before continuing on their journey towards the slopes of the Pyrenees.
