Montcuq is a picturesque medieval village located in the sunny region of White Quercy, named after the colour of its limestone rock. For pilgrims on the Le Puy Way, it's a special stopover. The town is topped by an imposing twelfth-century tower-turret, which is what remains of its old castle, and from which stunning panoramic views are obtained.
