Discover Mosqueruela

Mosqueruela, a historic village in the province of Teruel, is a stop of great patrimonial interest in one of the variants of the Camino de Sagunto. Situated on an alpine plateau of the Sierra de Gúdar-Javalambre, this locality, declared a Historic-Artistic Ensemble, preserves an impressive walled enclosure and a beautiful urban core. For the pilgrim, strolling through its streets is discovering noble houses, medieval arches, and the imposing parish church of the Assumption. Mosqueruela has a deep cattle tradition, linked to transhumance, and its surroundings of meadows and pine forests are ideal for reflection and contact with nature. The village offers services for the walker and a gastronomy based on the products of the sierra. In the context of the Camino de Santiago, it is an etapa that shows the richness of the towns of Maestrazgo turolense, a place to enjoy history, tranquility, and authenticity of interior Spain in its pilgrimage towards the north.
