Poza de la Sal is one of the most singular towns in the province of Burgos. Its landscape is marked by an impressive diapiro, a geological structure from which salt has been extracted since Roman times, creating valuable ethnographic salt pans. The village, declared a Historic-Artistic Ensemble, preserves a medieval layout with cobblestone streets, arcades and blazoned houses, all surrounded by a wall. It is the birthplace of naturalist Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente, Poza de la Sal offers an unique experience that combines geology, history and nature.
