Santibáñez de la Fuente

Santibáñez de la Fuente is a small and picturesque village in the Aller council, in central Asturian mountain range. For the pilgrim who passes through mountain routes like the Camino del Salvador, it represents a stop of great authenticity. The locality is surrounded by a green and leafy landscape typical of Asturias, and preserves traditional rural architecture. Its main jewel is the church of San Juan de Rumiera, a Romanesque temple declared Historic-Artistic Monument. It's an ideal place for a quiet rest, to enjoy the silence of the mountain and experience life in a small Asturian village. Although with limited services, its charm and peace are its greatest reward.
