Discover Sos del Rey Católico

The Royal Catholic Palace is a spectacular medieval villa that transports the visitor directly to the Middle Ages. Declared Historic-Artistic Ensemble, it is famous for being the birthplace of King Ferdinand the Catholic. Walking along its cobblestone streets, under its arches and passageways, is an unforgettable experience. Its walled courtyard, the Palace of the Sada (the king's birthplace), the medieval livery, the Jewish quarter, and St Stephen's Church are just one part of its vast heritage. For the traveler exploring the Five Villages region, it is a must-visit destination. Although it is a small detour from the main Jacobean routes, its visit enriches the cultural journey through Aragon enormously.
