Albalate de Huesa

Leaving behind the monumental Cordoba, this stage marks the beginning of the ascent to Sierra Morena. It is a transitional day that leaves the plain countryside behind and ventures into a landscape of low mountains and scrubland. The route is a continuous and demanding climb, especially in its final stretch. The pilgrim will be able to enjoy spectacular views of the city of Cordoba as they gain altitude. Arrival at Villaharta, a town with a history as a spa resort, offers well-deserved rest in a mountainous setting.
