Stage Description
Stage of the Via Turonensis across the Beauce, the great cereal plain south of Paris known as 'the granary of France'. Its 29 km or so are completely flat, through endless fields of wheat, oilseed rape and beet, with wide horizons and no shade. Artenay is a small town in the Loiret with a mill-museum and the old church of Saint-Victor.
