This is one of the longest stages at the end of the Camino Francés, an authentic nightmare with continuous ups and downs. The path traverses a beautiful landscape, with forests, rivers, and villages. It's a strenuous journey, but very rewarding. Arrival in Arzúa, land of cheese, is a gastronomic final stage. The Palas de Rei to Arzúa stage is one of the longest in the final stretch of the French Way, a 29km journey that traverses a beautiful landscape. The path starts at Palas de Rei (550m) and follows an undulating profile with a gentle overall descent towards Arzúa (380m). The route passes through a beautiful landscape, with forests, rivers, and villages.
