Stage Description
This is a mountain stage that ascends to the summit of La Espina. It's an demanding day, but of great beauty. The route goes through a landscape of forests and meadows, with spectacular views of the Asturian mountains. Arrival at Tineo, a village on top of a hill, is well-deserved rest. This stage requires good physical preparation, but rewards with unforgettable landscapes.
The Salas to Tineo stage is a 20km journey that ascends to La Espina's summit. The route starts in Salas (250m) and follows an ascending profile, with the ascent to La Espina's summit as the main challenge. The route traverses a beautiful landscape, featuring oak and beech forests. It is an demanding walk that requires good physical preparation. Arrival at Tineo (650m), a village on top of a hill, is a well-deserved rest. This stage combines a great physical challenge with the beauty of the mountain and a final in a town with a rich cultural and gastronomic offer.
