Stage Description
This stage is famous for its impressive views and for the vertiginous descent to Grandas de Salime's reservoir. The journey begins with a gentle ascent to Alto do Buspol, from where the large reservoir is seen for the first time, a sea of water between mountains. From there, a very pronounced and technical descent of over 600 meters in just a few kilometers begins, requiring maximum caution. After crossing the dam, a final climb by car is undertaken to reach Grandas de Salime. It's a short but intense stage, with spectacular landscape beauty that combines the difficulty of the descent with the grandeur of human engineering and nature.
