Stage Description

This short and pleasant stage enters the Terra Chá region, a vast grassland of great beauty. The route is flat and passes through a landscape of meadows, forests, and small villages. It's a day to enjoy the tranquility of Galician countryside. Arrival in Baamonde, a small village with an ancient chestnut tree and a stone altar, is a stage end with charm. It's a day for contemplation and rest.
The Vilalba to Baamonde stage is a short 18km journey that ventures into the Terra Chá region. The trail starts in Vilalba (480m) and follows a mainly descending profile with some undulations, until reaching the town of Baamonde (420m). The route passes through a beautiful landscape featuring meadows, forests and small villages. It is a peaceful and easy walk that allows you to enjoy the scenery and arrive on time to explore the destination town. Baamonde, with an ancient chestnut tree and a stone altar church, is a stage end with charm. This stage combines gentle exercise with rich historical experience, achieving perfect balance in the North Way.
