Stage Description
The first stage after the big city, marked by a long urban and industrial exit before the countryside returns. The Camino leaves León crossing the Bernesga and passes through Trobajo del Camino and La Virgen del Camino, where the modern sanctuary dedicated to the patron saint of the region stands. Beyond the junction where the Villar de Mazarife route and the Páramo route divide, the itinerary follows a pedestrian path parallel to the road as far as Villadangos del Páramo, a town with deep Jacobean roots. An easy day in terms of profile, somewhat monotonous in its final section alongside the main road.
