Stage Description
A stage of the Via Lemovicensis that leaves Limoges (capital of the Limousin, famous for its porcelain and for the splendid Gothic cathedral of Saint-Étienne) heading south. The roughly 38 km cross the Limousin plateau, with a landscape of grazing meadows, mixed woodland and traditional villages. Les Cars is a small town in the Haute-Vienne with a well-preserved rural centre.
