Leaving behind the monumental Lugo, this long stage enters rural Galicia. The route is a continuous rise and fall through a landscape of forests and meadows. It's a day of great beauty and physical demand. Arrival in Palas de Rei, where it joins the Camino Francés, is an animated final stage. This stage puts the pilgrim to the test, but rewards with spectacular landscapes.
The Lugo to Palas de Rei stage is a 35km long journey that ventures into rural Galicia. The route starts in Lugo (450m) and follows an undulating profile with a gentle ascent towards Palas de Rei (550m). The route passes through a beautiful landscape, with forests and meadows. It's a demanding walk due to its length, but it rewards with the beauty of its scenery and the tranquility of its surroundings. The arrival in Palas de Rei, where it meets the Camino Francés, is an animated finale.
