Stage Description
This is a brief stage that culminates with the ascent to the beautiful city of Trevi, perched on a hill. The route crosses the Umbrian valley, a landscape of olive groves and fields of cultivation. The final climb up to Trevi is demanding, but the views from the city, known as "The Oil Capital", are spectacular. It's a short journey that allows you to enjoy local cuisine and the charm of one of the most beautiful villages in the region.
The Poreta to Trevi stage is a short journey, of 12.3 kilometers, that ends in one of the most beautiful cities in Umbria. The route starts from Poreta (332 m) and follows an ascending profile, with a continuous climb up to Trevi (412 m). The route passes through a landscape of great beauty, with the famous olive hills of the Spoleto valley. It is a demanding walk that requires good physical preparation. Arrival in Trevi, known as "The Oil Capital", is a reward for effort. Its heritage, with its churches and palaces, and its medieval atmosphere, make it a very special stop. It's an stage that combines a great physical challenge with the beauty of the mountains and a final in a town with a rich cultural and gastronomic offer.
