The arrival in Poreta, a fortified small village, is a peaceful and authentic final stage. It's a day for contemplation and rest in the heart of Umbria.
The Spoleto to Poreta stage is a short 14.8 km journey that serves as an enjoyable recovery walk. The route starts in Spoleto (396 m) and follows a mainly descending profile with some undulations, until the village of Poreta (332 m). The route passes through a beautiful landscape, with the famous olive hills of the Spoleto valley. It is a peaceful and easy walk that allows you to enjoy the scenery and arrive in time to explore the destination town. Poreta is a fortified small village with a castle and a rural atmosphere. It is an stage that combines gentle exercise with rich scenic experience, a perfect balance on the Via di San Francesco.
