It is an demanding journey due to its distance. Arrival in Hagetmau, a town with a Romanesque crypt and a tradition in seat-making, is a well-deserved rest. It is a transitional stage that brings the pilgrim closer to the Pyrenees.
The stage from Mont-de-Marsan to Hagetmau is a 33-kilometer long journey that enters the Chalosse region. The path starts at Mont-de-Marsan (63 m) and follows an undulating profile, with a gentle ascent towards Hagetmau (110 m). The route passes through a beautiful landscape, with hills, forests and cultivated fields.
