Stage Description
Littoral stage of 23 km that leads to Viveiro, one of the most important fishing villages of A Mariña. The route runs along the coast, bordering beaches such as Area Longa and Covas, before entering Viveiro by its famous bridge over the Landro estuary. Viveiro preserves a walled historic center with the Porta de Carlos V and a rich religious tradition linked to Easter, declared of International Tourist Interest.
The stage from Pontevedra to Caldas de Reis is a 23km journey that continues through rural Galicia. The route starts in Pontevedra (20m) and follows an undulating profile, with a gentle general ascent towards Caldas de Reis (20m). The route passes through a beautiful landscape, with forests and vineyards, and spectacular views. It is a pleasant walk that allows you to enjoy the scenery and the tranquility of the surroundings. The arrival in Caldas de Reis, a thermal spa town with great balneological tradition, is a relaxing final stage.
