Stage Description
Transition stage from the mountains to the plains of Albacete, with a route of about 27 km and a smooth profile. The road runs between cereal fields, vineyards and olive groves, with wide horizons and a light that announces the proximity of La Mancha. Viveros is a small town in the region of Campo de Montiel, with an agricultural tradition and historically linked to the Order of Santiago. The journey allows you to move comfortably and enjoy the agricultural landscape of Castilla-La Mancha.
The stage between Arzúa and Salceda is a short and very favorable profile, ideal for those who want to divide the penultimate stage into two. The route runs through a beautiful landscape, through eucalyptus forests and meadows. It's a stage to enjoy the tranquility of Galician countryside and growing excitement about approaching Santiago. Arrival at the small village of Salceda marks the end of the stage. It is a quiet place with several hostels and restaurants, perfect for a restorative break before the final day of walking.
