Rionegro del Puente

Rionegro del Puente is an important stop on the Camino Sanabrés, a Zamoran village with a notable historical legacy. The locality owes its name to the Black River that runs through it and the bridge that allows it to be crossed. Its main monument is the Sanctuary of the Virgin of the Carballeda, which was a pilgrim hospital. The church preserves a venerable image of the Virgin and valuable woodwork.
