Discover Stia
Stia is an enchanting village nestled in the heart of Casentino Forest National Park. For pilgrims on the Saint Francis Way, it's one of the most significant stops. Here, at Monte Falterona, the Arno River is born, Tuscany's great river. The town boasts a beautiful covered square (Piazza Tanucci) and is famous for its "pannolenci" tradition, an orange or green woolen cloth. The Church of Santa Maria Assunta is another of its attractions. It's an ideal place to enjoy nature, local cuisine, and authentic Tuscan mountain atmosphere.
