Stage Description
This stage brings the pilgrim to the great city of Toulouse, on a route that partly follows the Canal du Midi, a World Heritage Site. It is a long but flat journey, very pleasant as it takes place along the water. The landscape is riverine and fields of cultivation. Arrival in Baziège, a village on the outskirts of Toulouse, is the precursor to "The Pink City". This stage is for enjoying the canal's engineering and the tranquility of its waters.
