After the hardships of the previous stage, the path descends gently into the valley of the River Tambre. The journey is an enjoyable stroll through rural Galicia. It's a day to enjoy the tranquility of Galician countryside. Arrival in Sigüeiro, a village on the banks of the River Tambre, is a serene final stage. It's a transition day that brings the pilgrim closer to the destination of Santiago.
The stage from Hospital of Bruma to Sigüeiro is a 25km journey that gently descends into the Tambre River valley. The route starts at Hospital de Bruma (450m) and follows a predominantly descending profile, with some undulations, until the town of Sigüeiro (250m). The route passes through a beautiful landscape, with forests and meadows. It is a peaceful and easy walk that allows you to enjoy the scenery and arrive in time to explore the destination town. Sigüeiro, a village on the banks of the Tambre River, is a serene final stage. This stage combines gentle exercise with rich historical experience, a perfect balance on the English Way.
