Stage Description
This stage of the Via Kunig crosses the Maragatería region of León through the valley of the river Tuerto. The 15 km have an undulating profile, passing through rural villages with the characteristic Maragatería architecture of stone and slate. Brañuelas is a mining town of Bierzo Alto, traditionally linked to the extraction of anthracite, today in transition after the closure of the mines.
