This stage borders Lake Four Cantons, offering a scenic route of great beauty. Although it has no major climbs, the terrain is rough and rocky. The lake and mountain views are constant and spectacular. It's a day to enjoy the lake scenery and the tranquility of the surroundings. Arrival in Buochs, a picturesque local town on the lake shore, is a relaxed final stage. It's a day that combines moderate effort with an unbeatable visual reward.
The Brunnen to Buochs stage is a 16.3 km journey that borders the Four Cantons Lake. The path starts at Brunnen (435 m) and follows a mostly flat profile with some undulations, until the town of Buochs (435 m). The route passes through a beautiful landscape, with views of the lake and the Alps. It is a peaceful walk with no difficulties, allowing you to enjoy the scenery and arrive in time to explore the destination town. Buochs is a picturesque town on the lake's shores, with a relaxed atmosphere and basic services for pilgrims. This stage combines gentle exercise with rich scenic experience, a perfect balance on the Jacob's Way.
