This stage is an enjoyable stroll that brings the pilgrim to the great city of Vigo. The route is a gentle ascent that moves away from Vigo's bay. Arrival in Vigo, with its impressive old town and lively atmosphere, is a spectacular final stage. It's a day to enjoy the anticipation of arriving at one of the most important cities on the route.
The Baiona to Vigo stage is a 25-kilometer journey that brings the pilgrim to the great city of Vigo. The trail starts in Baiona (10m) and follows an undulating profile, with a gentle ascent towards Vigo (20m). The route traverses a beautiful landscape, with forests and fields of cultivation. It is a pleasant walk, which allows you to enjoy the scenery and arrive on time to explore the destination city. Arrival at Vigo, with its impressive old town and lively atmosphere, is a spectacular final stage. This stage combines gentle exercise with rich historical experience, a perfect balance in the Portuguese Coastal Way.
