Stage Description
This stage enters Galicia, on a route that combines interior sections with spectacular views of the Ria de Vigo. It's a day of great beauty and physical demand. The arrival in Bayonne, the town where America was announced to be discovered, is an end-of-stage finale with charm. It's a day to enjoy the landscape and Galician culture.
The A Guarda to Baiona stage is a 30km journey that enters Galicia. The route starts in A Guarda (10m) and follows an undulating profile, with a gentle overall ascent towards Baiona (10m). The route passes through a beautiful landscape, with interior sections and spectacular views of the Vigo estuary. It's a pleasant walk that allows you to enjoy the scenery and the tranquility of the surroundings. The arrival in Baiona, the village where the discovery of America was announced, is a stage finish with charm.
