This long stage is a true challenge that continues the journey through the Landes forest. The route is flat but very demanding due to its distance. The arrival in the important city of Dax, famous for its thermal waters since Roman times, is a monumental reward. This is an overcoming stage, which culminates in an ideal destination for rest and body recovery. It's a day for brave people.
The stage from Labouheyre to Dax is a long journey of 48 kilometers that continues the traverse through the forest of the Landes. The route starts in Labouheyre (80 m) and follows a mostly descending profile, with some undulations, until the city of Dax (10 m). The route passes through a beautiful landscape, with pine forests and fields of cultivation. It is an demanding walk due to its length, but it rewards with the beauty of its scenery and the grandeur of the destination. Arrival in Dax, famous for its thermal waters since Roman times, is a moment of great excitement. The city, with its heritage and lively life, is one of the most important stops on the route.
