Gallargues-le-Montueux to Vendargues

This stage continues across the Languedoc plain, approaching the important city of Montpellier. The route is flat and passes through a landscape of vineyards and orchards. It's a transition day with no major difficulties, allowing for a relaxed day of walking. The route goes through the local town of Lunel. Arrival in Vendargues, a village on the outskirts of Montpellier, is the precursor to the large city. This stage serves as a comfortable approach to the next big milestone on the trail.
