Gallargues-le-Montueux

Gallargues-le-Montueux is a peaceful French municipality in the Occitania region, a tranquil stop on the Route of Arles. The village, situated over a small hill (montueux), preserves remnants of its medieval past, such as a keep tower. For pilgrims, it's an ideal place for restorative respite, away from the bustle of large cities. Its surroundings, consisting of vineyards and garrigue, are typical of southern France. Although its services are basic, the calm atmosphere and authenticity of a small French village make it an enjoyable stop to recharge and continue on to Montpellier.
