Grimaldo to Carcaboso

Stage of the Vía de la Plata through the north of Cáceres. The 30 km link Grimaldo with Carcaboso through the region of Tierras de Granadilla, a landscape of Extremadura pastures with ancient oaks, cork oaks and pastures for livestock. The route partly follows the original Roman route of the Iter ab Emerita Asturicam. Carcaboso preserves Roman milestones in its surroundings and is a historical point of the Via. The profile is predominantly flat with some gentle slopes.
