Stage Description
A pleasant and flat stage that borders the shores of Lake Lemann, this is a short and relaxing day ideal for enjoying the views of the lake, the Alps and the vineyards of La Côte. The route passes through parks and small villages with charm. Arrival in Morges, a picturesque town with a castle and a beautiful walk along the lake, is a very pleasant final stage. It's a day for contemplation and rest by the shores of Switzerland's "sea".
The Lausanne to Morges stage is a short and delicious 12.5 km journey that follows the shores of Lake Lemann. The route leaves the city of Lausanne (375 m) and follows a practically flat run along the lake's shoreline. The route passes through the vineyards of La Côte, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offering stunning scenery. It is a very pleasant walk with no difficulty whatsoever, allowing you to enjoy the views of the lake and the Alps on the opposite shore. Arrival in Morges (373 m), an enchanting town with a castle, a port, and a famous tulip festival in spring, makes for a perfect final stage. This is an ideal day out for a relaxing stroll that allows you to appreciate the beauty of the landscape, wine culture, and charm of Switzerland's lake towns.
