Leaving behind the monumental Périgueux, this long stage follows the course of the Isle River. The route is mostly flat and pleasant, ideal for recovering strength. The landscape is riverine, with the river as a constant companion. It's a day to enjoy the tranquility of the road and the riverine landscape. Arrival in Mussidan, a small town on the riverbank, is a serene stage end.
The stage from Périgueux to Mussidan is a 33 km long journey that follows the course of the Isle River. The route starts in Périgueux (100 m) and follows a mostly flat profile, with a gentle descent towards Mussidan (50 m). The route passes through a beautiful landscape, following part of the river's course. It is an enjoyable walk that allows you to enjoy the scenery and the tranquility of the surroundings. The arrival in Mussidan, a small town on the riverbank, is a serene finale. This stage combines gentle exercise with rich historical experience, a perfect balance on the Lemovicensis Way.
