Stage Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert to Saint-Jean-de-la-Blaquière

After the beauty of Saint-Guilhem, this stage involves a tough climb to leave the Hérault gorges and reach the Larzac plateau. It is one of the most demanding days on the route, with considerable elevation gain. The landscape changes to a drier and more solitary high plain. It's a day of effort and overcoming that rewards you with the feeling of having conquered the mountain. Arrival at Saint-Jean-de-la-Blaquière, a small village in the plateau, is a well-deserved rest in an environment of great tranquility.
