This short and pleasant stage is a walk that combines the coast with the interior. Starting from touristy Suances, the path moves away from the sea to venture into the Cantabrian countryside. The route is gentle, over green hills and small villages. The journey ends in one of Spain's most beautiful villages: Santillana del Mar. Its medieval old town, perfectly preserved, is a time-traveling experience and an unparalleled cultural reward for the pilgrim.
