Stage Description
The final stage of the Via Lemovicensis before Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. The roughly 14 km leave Béarn and enter the French Basque Country (Pays Basque) by way of Soule and Basse-Navarre. Ostabat is the 'Capital of the Ways', being the historic meeting point of the three great French routes, the threshold of the Pyrenean crossing to Roncesvalles.
