Stage Description
This is a short and gentle stage that serves as an alternative to mountainous days. The route runs through a terrain of soft undulations, through a landscape of meadows and forests. It's a walk with no rush, enjoying the tranquility of western Asturias. The destination is the small village of Campiello, a peaceful place that offers genuine rural rest.
This long and demanding stage brings the pilgrim to the monumental city of Burgos. The route passes through a transition landscape, leaving behind the last foothills of the mountain range to enter the plain of the River Arlanzón. Arrival in Burgos, with its majestic Gothic Cathedral, is the end of a long journey and an unbeatable reward.
