The Vendôme to Château-Renault stage is a 33-kilometer long journey that ventures into the Gâtine region. The route starts from Vendôme (80m) and follows an undulating profile, with a gentle ascent towards Château-Renault (130m). The path traverses a beautiful landscape, with forests and hills. It's a demanding walk due to its length, but it rewards with the beauty of its scenery and the tranquility of the surroundings. The arrival at Château-Renault, a city with an industrial past and the ruins of a castle, is a stage finish with charm.
