Leaving beautiful San Sebastián, this stage enters the Guipuzcoan coast. The route is a continuous rise and fall through hills and cliffs, with spectacular views of the sea. It's a day of great beauty and physical demand. Arrival in Zarautz, a coastal town with an extensive beach and a large surfing tradition, is an animated final stage. It's a stage to enjoy the sea and the coastal landscape.
The stage from San Sebastián to Zarautz is a 22km journey that ventures into the Guipuzcoa coast. The route starts in San Sebastián (10m) and follows an undulating profile, with a gentle ascent overall towards Zarautz (10m). The route passes through a beautiful landscape, with hills and cliffs, and spectacular sea views. It is a pleasant walk that allows you to enjoy the scenery and the tranquility of the surroundings. The arrival in Zarautz, a maritime village with an extensive beach and a great surfing tradition, is an animated finale. This stage combines gentle exercise with rich historical and scenic experience, the perfect balance on the North Way.
