Stage Description
This stage continues into the interior of A Coruña province, on a route that combines mountain trails with flatter zones. It is a beautiful day that crosses the Mariñas region. The arrival in Betanzos, one of the ancient capitals of the Kingdom of Galicia, with its impressive old town and Gothic churches, is a monumental final stage. This stage requires good physical preparation but rewards with a first-class destination.
The Pontedeume to Betanzos stage is a 20km journey that continues into the interior of A Coruña province. The path starts in Pontedeume (10m) and follows an undulating profile, with a gentle ascent towards Betanzos (20m). The route traverses a beautiful landscape, with the Mariñas region as its main protagonist. It is a pleasant walk that allows you to enjoy the scenery and the tranquility of the surroundings.
