Discover A Rúa de Valdeorras
A Rúa de Valdeorras is one of the main villages in the Valdeorras region and an important stop on the Camino de Invierno. Settled in a fertile valley at the banks of the Sil River, the locality is a centre for services and a reference point for the Denominación de Origen Valdeorras, famous for its Godello and Mencía wines. Its Roman bridge, "A Ponte Vella", is a witness to its history as a crossing point of roads. For pilgrims, it's an enjoyable stage, with milder weather, ideal for enjoying the riverine landscape, local cuisine, and of course, its excellent wines. A restorative stop in inland Galicia.
