Abla is a historic village in the province of Almería, a stop of great cultural interest on the Mozarabic Way. Situated on the north slope of Sierra Nevada, its origins date back to Roman times. Its main jewel is a late Roman mausoleum, an octagonal funerary monument magnificently preserved and unique in the peninsula. Additionally, the Church of the Annunciation, in Mudéjar style, dominates the town. For pilgrims, Abla offers a journey through ancient history and a beautiful environment, with views to the mountain range. With good services, it is an ideal stop for a cultural and restorative break, before venturing into the highlands of the province of Granada.
