Colunga

Colunga is an welcoming village on the eastern coast of Asturias, a major stop on the Camino del Norte. The town is located in the "Dinosaur Coast", and its main attraction is the Museum of Jurassic Asturias (MUJA), with its spectacular dinosaur footprint architecture. A few kilometers away is La Griega beach, where you can see dinosaur footprints on the rock. The town's urban center is pleasant and has good services for pilgrims. It is an ideal stage to combine pilgrimage with paleontology and enjoying the Asturian coast.
