Fabara is a municipality in the province of Zaragoza that preserves a Roman-era gem: the Mausoleum of Lucius Aemilius Ludo, known as the "Mausoleum of Fabara". This 2nd-century AD funerary monument is one of the best-preserved on the Iberian Peninsula. For pilgrims on the Way of St James along the Ebro River, it's a major cultural stop.
